Geoff, Paul, Rose, &Toral's PledgePage - We did it!

Our goal was to raise money to help fund research in search of a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. We ran the Rock N'Roll marathon in Phoenix, AZ on January 11th, 2004 to raise money in honor of Geoff's aunt, Melinda Berger, who passed away from small lymphocytic lymphoma, and Toral's uncle, H. B. Patel, who passed away from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We thank all those who sponsored us in our marathon or shopped online at www.igive.com.

Every day we encounter more people who have been affected by blood cancers. We are keeping in our thoughts Peter Brachman, who is now battling lymphoma. We will also remember Betty Davis' mother, who passed away from Hodgkin's disease.

Stats to keep in mind...

* Every nine minutes, another child or adult is expected to die from leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

* Leukemia and lymphoma are the leading fatal cancers in young men under age 39.
